This Week’s Announcements…
County Farm Fair - We want to thank all of you who have been faithful in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ at the Farm Fair in our booth. It’s been a joy to see new believers stepping out in faith and allowing God to use them in loving the people of Kaua’i with smiles, friendly conversations and leading them to know God’s relationship with people. Thank you for your faithfulness!
KBC Fall Semester – The Fall Semester will be starting in just a couple days (Tuesday, Aug. 31). If you would like to take any classes either for credit or to audit (non-credit) see Pastor Josh for a list of available classes this semester.
Give Aloha Program – CCK will be participating again in the Fooland Give Aloha Program through the month of September. This is a great way to increase your tithe by simply submitting your September tithe (maximum of $249/person for the month) to Foodland telling them you want to donate to CCK. They will, in October, give us what you gave plus a percentage. The more donated to Calvary Chapel Kaua’i, the higher the percentage they will add to your donation. You must have a Maika’i card to participate. If you need an application please see Rae Nam.
Church Yard Sale – The Women’s Ministry will be having a Church Yard sale Oct. 9th to raise funds for the Spring Retreat. Start saving your donations for the Yard Sale.
Employement Opportunities - If you are between the ages of 14 and 23 years of age you may be eligible to participate in a summer work program through the end of Sept. that will pay you to work at qualified agencies (like CCK). See Pastor Bruce for more information and how to apply.
Leadership Meeting - If you are leading a ministry, ‘Ohana Small Group, or interested in the leadership of CCK please joint us Sunday, Sept. 12th @ 11:45am
Prophecy Conference – KBC will be hosting the Calvary Chapel Annual Prophecy Conference on Sept. 18th & 19th. More details to follow next week. Hold this weekend open to attend this interesting, enlightening and Free conference.
Radically Changed Lives - Ho’ike Television is broadcasting the “testimonial” program hosted by Faith Collier at various times during the month. Go to www.hoike.com for the broadcast time schedule. If you would like to share your testimony with Kaua’i see Faith Collier.
